For almost a decade, Caroline Collins has reported and anchored the news spanning from coast to coast.
The experienced journalist is now the prime-time evening anchor of FOX 26 News at 5 and The News Edge at 10 in the 6th largest newsmarket in the United States, Houston Texas.
Caroline has also generated a large and loyal following of more than two million across social media platforms including Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, X and Threads.
Caroline attended Point Park University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
She earned a full-ride athletic scholarship to play on the Women's Golf Team.
Caroline lead the team for four years winning three collegiate tournaments and placing each year in the Conference Championship.
Attending college in the Steel City was a dream for Caroline as she grew up cheering on the black and gold.
After graduating in 2015, Caroline began her broadcast journalism career at JET 24 Action News in Erie, PA as a general assignment reporter.
She then had the opportunity to become the Weekend Anchor and Weekday Reporter at the news station she grew up watching, 21 WFMJ in Youngstown, Ohio.
Caroline covered the news in Western Pennsylvania where she grew up and Northeastern Ohio during her four years at WFMJ.
It was during this time Caroline recognized the importance of social media in broadcast journalism.
She graduated with her Master's of Arts in Communication Technology with a specialization in Social Media in 2019 from Point Park University.
In 2020, Caroline moved across the country and began her role as KSEE 24 Morning Anchor in Fresno, California.
During her time in Fresno, Caroline partnered with the Ronald McDonald House of Central California and helped to raise necessary funds through a telethon on KSEE 24 to serve the families of sick children in the hospital.
She also covered wildfires and the ongoing drought that plagued the Central Valley.
Caroline was thrilled to make the move to Texas and serve the Houston community as a lead Anchor.
Caroline launched a show with Anchor Rashi Vats exclusively on FOX Local.
The two produce and host Caroline & Rashi every weekday live at 3:30 PM Central.

Caroline loves being a part of the Houston Community and has enjoyed covering The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and the Astro's postseason playoff run!
She also covered the 2023 tornado that ripped through Passadena and Deer park and the contentious Houston Mayoral election.
When she's off the anchor desk, you can find Caroline on the golf course, at a fitness class or enjoying the elaborate culinary scene in Houston.
She loves attending concerts and sporting events and volunteering with The Kailee Mills Foundation.
Caroline plans to continue telling important stories in the Bayou City and growing in her new role as a podcast host and producer of "Big Bites with Caroline Collins."
